November is the 11th month of the year according to the Gregorian calendar. Nobody likes November…. Or do they actually? This is a debate all around the people. Surveys show that November is one of the most disagreed upon month, where people just can’t decide if they like the month or hate it.

- Let’s start on a positive note; have you heard of “Movember”? It is a charity support movement that started in Australia but now has set a foot in lands across the world. Men are encouraged to shave off their beard on Nov 1st and keep on growing the Mustache until the Nov 30th.
- “Bloody November” You might have heard this phrase somewhere, but do you know where it comes from? Anglo-Saxons gave November the name Blood Monath, because of the cattle that used to be slaughtered to prepare for the winter. Hey, people have got to eat, right!
- If you’re a fan of Shakespeare, you’ll find it interesting that November is the only month that has no mentions in any of his plays. I’m starting to think it was he who started these shenanigans of “hating” November!
- Thanksgiving is very dear to all of our hearts! And since 1621, it has been a tradition to gather with your family and friends and celebrate this day by thinking of all that we’re thankful of, and enjoying a nice fat turkey. Now that I think about it, that’s a lot of turkeys in the past 400 years!!!
